My first grey hair I got I was 7. you can't slow it down, there are products where you can touch up just the grey hair rather than, color all your hair for those few grey. You can pull them out if you have very few, and no it is an old wife fib that if you pull one seven will come back. I don't think stress is the reason, but most likely it is you genes

Why don't you try covering it up? Try dying your hair back to your natural color occasionally.

You can not slow it down or stop it ... but you can cover it with hair dye , I have had grey hair since I was 16 .. I'm 26 now , I was told it could be hereditary

well i have to admit in my op pinion its quite strange but theres know way to stop it from happening but there is a way to change it for a certain amount of time whitch would be dying it ither a new collar or the same callor the none grey area on your scalp

Well, unfortunately, the chances you can stop it are between small and nil. The causes are numerous, but mostly caused by stressing events and/or heredity. I have seen hair go from white to dark, but it doesn't stay and I have yet to find a way to keep it that way, other than artificially colouring it. I'd strongly suggest a semi-permanent colour closest to your natural colour so it doesn't look like you're colouring it. Good Luck!

Genetics is factor. Unfortunately, I think all you can do is dye it or sport it proudly. I don't think gray hair looks bad. Remember Storm from the X-Men movies?
