You sound very mature; in fact, more mature than most adults I know. It sounds to me, though, like you need to have a little more fun while you're 16, 17, 18... I was very mature at 16 (AP, honor roll, job, activism and volunteer work, etc.) but I was also into lots of fun and trouble on the side. I'm so glad that I wasn't a total slacker but I'm also so glad I got in those crazy days before I had to really start being an 'adult'.

If all of these traits come naturally to you then that's great, but if you are specifically molding yourself to become someone who is very 'mature for their age', it's not psychologically healthy for you in the long-run. I recommend that you just relax a little because once you get older you're going to realize that you missed out on some of the best times to be able to have fun. Once you graduate, (and I'm assuming you will be pursuing post-secondary education because you're obviously quite smart) college and university- and eventually a career- will force you into being irreversibly 'adult', and you might regret not taking advantage of the time you have right now.

I hope I don't sound too 'preachy', but I know where you're coming from, and I know that I'm so thankful for the fact that I let myself be a bit of a brat before I graduated!

Yes, you sound like a great kid!! Mature??? Yeah, if you didn't ask this question.

Would you say I am mature for my age ?

No, you are very smart and grounded. but maturity only comes with age and experiences. sometimes you have to make mistakes to become mature. i would say grounded and focused is a better word.

You won't truly be mature until you find real coffee to drink...you need to get away from starbucks and find a decent coffee house with a professional barista.... starbucks knows nothing about good coffee.

All this can be achieved by anyone, mature or not. But if you want to know whether you are mature or not, just answer ths one question to youself:

If some horrid difficulty in your life arises(anything, whether the death of someone close, very close, or a sever attack on your body, harm done to you by anybody, etc), would you be able to finish those problems? Would you be able to release them or you won't? Answer this, and you'll get your answer.

wow you are definetley mature. but trust me on this you dont want to become anymore sophisticated. your only 16, you have your whole life ahead of you. While i admire your lifestyle i also think you should take it easy from time to time. no need to want to become any more sophisticated.

those are things and activities darling. those dont make you mature - Maturity has to with responses to events. Do you handle crisis well? or if your BF doesnt call, is it all about you?

And from your apparent plug to get praise and attention for all these "wonderful" things you are doing, I have to say no - you're a typical teenager.

Would you say I am mature for my age ?

Grounded, sure, but maturity comes with age. Don't forget to be a kid while you can, though! It only happens once, and you have your whole life to be an adult

Would you say I am mature for my age ?

yes you're mature and sophisticated...but what's wit d color code?

Would you say I am mature for my age ?

your kinda mature

Would you say I am mature for my age ?

Don't change.

Well, you are certainly accomplished at this point and seemingly self confident enough to ask for criticism. You are on your way to becoming whatever you want to become. Disciplined comes to mind. If these things make one "sophisticated" then maybe you would qualify. I think some classic dress and jacket sets and a touch of lace and pastel colors would be less serious yet femenine, princess-like and sophisticated. Don't take up your whole youth trying to be older than what you are! You're only young once so I hope you have some clean fun social activities with friends which I didn't see mentioned here. Wait until you are 18 or 20 at least to date! (that's what I would tell my daughter!) Be friendly and gracious, polite and well mannered, gentle and soft spoken and able to carry on interesting conversations. These make a genteel sophisticated woman no matter what she wears or her level of education.
