Can you describe your pets to me in a wee poem?

As most of you know I have Old English Sheepdogs, or Bobtails as they are also called.

Here's my description.

Nature who made you rough and grey and meek,

Reft you of dogdom's silent power to speak,

Cut off your tribal customary flag,

And left you with nothing you could wave or wag.

Yet, still unfair herself, she made you fair,

A bob-tailed beauty in a mass of hair.

With two dark eyes on which her mind she spent,

To make them tender, wise, and eloquent.

I have a dog that's Grey and white,

with big front paws no tail in sight.

He plays with all the tiny pups,

Cleans the plates and the shiny cups.

Was blessed with him one sunny day.

Some gifts come in a funny way.

At the end of the garden, I got a surprise,

when through the hedge she saw two bright green eyes.

As she walked slowly closer, she crouched down to see

a small fluffy cat, as black as could be.

She held out her hand, and said "hello,"

but the cat just hissed and crouched down low.

I thought, "What a silly cat,

Grandma's Cat doesn't behave like that."

Grandma's Cat was fat, with shiny ginger fur,

Who would rub your face and gently purr.

He played with toys and climbed the tree

and fell asleep sat on your knee.

Not like this cat with his eyes opened wide,

he quickly ran away to hide.

"What a silly cat to act that way,"

but he came back the very next day!

I was lost for words

as he ate the bread put out for the birds!

Underneath the fluffy fur, she saw he was thin

and watched him rummaging through the bin.

He came back every night and day,

to try and find food they had thrown away.

He started to eat it, it can't have been tasty,

I thought she may have been hasty.

He wasn't unfriendly or being bad,

his face looked frightened and very sad.

If no one else had ever cared,

he probably was very scared.

I spied on him, as off he sped

and spent the night underneath the shed.

Alone, hungry and with no name,

I thought it was such a shame.

So she told her Mum and they looked out,

for when the black cat was round and about.

They would take out food every day,

sometimes he'd hiss and run away.

When he did they did not mind,

they knew he wasn't used to people being kind.

Dad put a catflap in the door of the shed,

Mum got an old blanket and made a cosy bed.

They called him Midnight and he soon understood,

that his life in their garden could be good.

Plenty of food and a warm place at night,

and if he didn't want to be stroked, that was alright.

Poor Midnight had been a lonely stray,

but now he had a place to stay.

He may not want to be cuddled, or sit in the house,

but he liked to play with a new toy mouse.

He put on weight, his coat glistened

and when I spoke, he sat and listened.

She knew he was thankful for all she had done,

a special new friendship had begun.

About the above is when i had taken in a homeless cat that had stayed in my garden.

He is the Loch Ness Monster, he's older than your mum.

And If you get to close to him he'll bit you in the bu*m.

But if you feed him tourists he'll love you with all his heart.

And to let you know that it's appeciated he'll let off a big huge fart.

Okay here goes:

I have two such friends who share my life;

one is a Yorkie who is full of strife;

the other is a Sheltie who stays to herself;

they fight sometimes because that is just who they are;

I know this doesn't rhyme but hey I am doing my best:

just to let you know who these pets are that put me to the test;

I have loved them thus far from there to here;

they are my pets and I hold them so dear.

God Bless.

"I have two little fluff balls, I like it that way, no big scary monsters will here to stay, they poop %26amp; poop for me to scoop, which sometimes sends me loop de loop, they have cute floppy ears that dangle in muck, but still have that cute little look, they call you "just lap dogs" not much use at all, but they dont know the big hearts in those two fluffball.....s

I'm not a poet and I know it......lol

Curled up on the bed or feet in the air

My Geeps and I make quite a pair.

Fox ears, tailless, %26amp; short to the ground

Through snow, fallen leaves, %26amp; rocks she does bound.

Unconditionally, my love %26amp; friendship she does accepts

Even my tears when I have wept.

No matter how we travel or where we go

My little girl puts on a show.

Leaping %26amp; barking, grabbing my hand

She is ready to explore any land.

To describe her in one word, I won't pretend

She is my "Bubbly" shadow %26amp; friend.

A friend to all critters %26amp; humans no matter their place in life

She gives of her heart to end sadness %26amp; strife.

So as dreams fill her head

While asleep on my bed

I can only say, she is much more then I have said.

In closing I'll add:

By my side she will stay

Even death won't take one of us away.

Note: Geeps (Max's Little GPS) is a Pembroke Welsh Corgi

My sweet little puppy named Zada,

Is finding her training much harder,

Perhaps I should mention

Her span of attention

Is less than a fly in a larder.

Can you describe your pets to me in a wee poem?

I have a little doggie

His name is Bobbie

His breed is of Pommie

and is a mass of black fluffy

Curls up and sleeps like a cutie

Is a senior citizen doggy

all of fifteen and still going.....

Can you describe your pets to me in a wee poem?

He's a Maine Coon and apricot and white

He's a Loon to be sure, and sometimes not that bright!

His legs and feet are stocky;

As he careens through my house like Rocky!

His name is Tony ...and I've added Bologna as his last

'Cause he acts like a member of the Soprano's cast!

We have a Cocker Spaniel who was dumped out in the cold,

The man at the Dog's Trust told us she was 3 to 5yrs old.

But when we got our Sally home we knew it wasn't true

Coz she couldn't run around our house like you'd expect a dog to do.

She'd been in rescue kennels for 11 days,

Others had been to see her but didn't like her ways.

She whined at every shadow and barked at passers by,

But she was what we'd been looking for and here's the reasons why.

She's comical, she's funny, she's just the pup we'd been looking for

She can be moody and she sulks a lot oh we could say much more

But to us she is the perfect hound

And we're glad we found her in the pound

To love for ever more.

======================================...

That's all folks!

We'd be lost without her and we love her to pieces. The laws in the UK need changing for people who dump animals and are cruel to animals. Think about all the different areas where dogs actually work alongside humans....sheepdogs, rescue dogs who sniff out people trapped after earthquakes and other disasters, dogs that work with the police, sniffer dogs, drug busters, etc etc and dogs were used in the 2nd world war to sniff out bombs etc and have been used in the armed forces since then too for the military, guide dogs, assistance dogs and the list goes on. xx

I have two cats rescued from the street.

One is quite fat and the other is sleek.

Can you describe your pets to me in a wee poem?

They fly around me constant-lee

Their incessant drone

Their crazy scree

Makes me want to hear the phone

They bother me all day and night

And bite me and bite me

Til I am

Quite the sight

I get no sleep

From these pests

I have no respite

Just catnaps for rests

They are not really pets

These pesky Joes

But since they are always around

What do I else do I call these mosquitos!

My little dog will cry........

with nothing in her eye

once I looked and discovered it was a Sti...

Nothing less than something had fell from the Sky.......

(Don't laugh I tried)

Dear Whiskas cat food, I鈥檝e something to say,

I like Whiskas鈥?varieties, they are OK.

But I have a suggestion, I鈥檇 like to make,

take notice of a cat, for goodness sake.

What cats really prefer, is not what you think,

it鈥檚 not beef, lamb and vegetable, sea bream or shrimp.

You see I don鈥檛 like vegetables, I鈥檓 a carnivore at heart,

and I can鈥檛 catch tuna, and that鈥檚 just the start

Can you describe your pets to me in a wee poem?

Pets are welcome at home,

we had walk-ins and drop-ins:

Monkey, pigeons, cats and dogs,

We were bitten, scratched, pecked, nipped and loved.

got me a dawg with lots 'o' moxie,

has the right color and looks - just call her "Foxy"

she sniffs and digs in new fallen snow,

much to the mortal danger of mice scurrying below.

she's just a brown mutt saved from destruction,

and passed on to us without guidance or instruction.

but where e'er she lurks, be it outdoor or in,

she has us trained to the short-leash -- much to our chagrin.

I have a little westie,

He's getting old and grey.

He wee wees in the cat tray,

and poo's there every day

Meet our little Lulu, but don't let her size fool you.....

A bold tiny terrier, whose bark couldn't be scarier.....

She torments the moles, and digs up their holes.....

Squirrels make haste, because she'd sure like a taste.....

Any snake she meets, become her own special treat....

But as the moon meets the sun, and her days work is done....

She snuggles at my feet, just so lovable and sweet!

Can you describe your pets to me in a wee poem?

thank you for being my boy

thank you for being my friend

You tried to bark at me

you knew we were meant to be

Six years years we've been together

Going out for walks in any type of weather

Many holidays we have shared you and I

For you food, collars, and toys I will buy

and remember you till the day I die

Can you describe your pets to me in a wee poem?

I love my dog named Barley,

she's loving , fun and bold,

but I'd swop her for a Goldfish,

when the weather gets too cold.
