What color eyeshadow will go best with my outift?

I have v. dark brown hair, and brown eyes. I am wearing a black dress. I will be wearing silver jewlery and a silver clutch. I dont want to do the black/grey smokey look, because well everything will just be too dark...what color will brighten things up and also look classy? PICTURES would be great, and will def. help in getting you best answer ;)

Get a white eyeshadow and a blue one, mix the colours together (maybe a eyeshadow with a bit of glitter in it), then apply the mixed colour. It comes out like a nice subtle blue/grey colour. My cousin told me about this and it works a treat, for eyeliner still go for black or maybe a subtle greyish colour.
