4 weeks pregnant?

Just found out that I am 4 weeks pregnant and my wedding is 4 weeks away!!!

#1. I have been tanning 2 times a week just to keep a glow from the summer, can I still do this if its for only like 10 mins a time and get out before I get hot?

#2. Is there a safe way that I can still have my hair dyed before the wedding?? My appointment was in 3 weeks and I am full of grey roots!!!!

These may be dum questions to some of you.....so please just move along and ignore it rather than posting something cruel.

Thanks for the help!! :)

I think that your skin may be more sensitive so be careful everything about you changes during preg. I would ask your Dr about anything your not sure of or pick up one of those preg know it all books, there really helpful.

No more tanning, and you aren't supposed to have dye sit on your scalp when pregnant. You can have a color weave or partial weave.

Tanning has not been proven to be safe nor has it been proven to be harmful to a human embryo/fetus. It is strongly cautioned though, as it's simply not worth the potential risks. (I used to work in a tanning salon and I attended a seminar that discussed this very topic.)

As for dying your hair ~ Be warned that pregnancy has a tendancy to change even the slightest things such as the thickness of and the pores in your hair shafts. Therefore, coloring can be tricky. You may not end up with the color that you desire. I would suggest that you let a professional handle the job and be sure to let them know ahead of time that your expecting. (Alerting them ahead of time will also ensure that they take extra precautions to keep you from exposure to harmful chemicals that could be inhaled.) If you insist on doing the coloring yourself, I would reccomend that you snip a strand of hair from an inconspicuious area of your head and do a color strand test ~ Follow the packaging instructions on this. Good luck and congradulations on both your upcoming marriage and your pregnancy. I hope this helps.

You can dye your hair, but I have been told a big no on the tanning this early. You can use self tanning lotion to keep the glow though.

good luck and congrats on both!
