I have just tried to color my hair my natural light brown color. I now have red roots and a dull ugly grey color about 2 inches from the ends. I have to work tomorrow. Any home remedies? Thanks!

Sorry to be so blunt, but it's for a reason. If you try more and more and more color to get a desired result, then you are going to have more problems with color correction in a salon and you're damaging you hair every time you put more color on. You don't want breakage. You don't want your hair falling off. You might also want to do some sort of treatment in a salon when you get your color done.

if you are using chemical dye on your hair you must avoid the chlorine found in water. there are dyes out there to cover grey. there is a bottled solution you can buy that you use after you rinse that deminishes red or brassie tones. i am sorry i have no idea what you can use at a last moment fix for this prob;em, except to go out and buy the toner used to tone the brass down. you did not mention when you last dyed your hair and what color then you may have used.
