Make-up help?

I'm naturally blonde, and about a month ago i dyed my hair brunette. I used to wear quite a lot of make up.. smoky eye shadow, lots of mascara and black eye liner, but the eye shadow smudges at school so i toned it down to mascara and grey eyeliner but i don't like it. If i wear just mascara and eyeliner i think i look plain. I know i shouldnt think this because i am only 14 but i want to know your advice on which makeup to wear during the day? Preferably NO eye shadow because it smudges. Also.. do you know any good liquid eyeliners, because the one i have at the minute makes my skin on my eyes feel sore.

just use light eye shawdow so it doesnt smudge

thicker eyeliner, and maybe a little bit of colored eyeliner, too, so it doesnt smear like eye shadow.

annd use a eyelash curler and mascara.

i think without an eyelash curler and mascara i look so

..plain and when i put it on i look so differnt but in a good way

I'm a brunette and I wear earthy tones. Browns, taupes etc. I wear very black mascara with brown or black pencil eyeliner, and either brown shades of eyeshadow or eggplant (I also have very green eyes). I've found the trick to applying eye makeup without having to reapply in an hour, is to put my concealor and/or foundation and powder on first, then apply my eye makeup. It stays put far longer than without. Also, I only apply cream to my eye area at night, that way my makeup doesn't slide into the little creases.

Another thing I do, is if I'm going somewhere a little more sedate, I wet a very fine makeup brush and dab it in some eyeshadow, using that to draw on eyeliner. It's not as harsh as liquid or pencil eyeliner, and applied over a base (foundation etc) seems to work really really well for me.

Maybe some of this will help you. :)

PS: if any makeup makes your eyes sore, throw it out and try a new brand. Or it could just be old. I throw everything out after 4 months maximum (taking into consideration it may have sat in the store for a little while)

If you apply a primer to your eyelids before you put eyeshadow on it will not smudge or wear off. Since you are only fourteen and for an everyday routine try and stick with more natural colors (unless you have a dance or something) that are lighter so it will brighten up your face.

I think eyeliner on the bottom, and on the top.

If you put eyeliner on the top(preferably liquid), just a thin straight line near you lash line, it gives your eyes more definition, without having eyeshadow, and it also looks great.

And mascara.

I am naturally blonde too... i wear a BIT of liquid eyeliner on the top of my eyes... And i wear the coulor dark brown... light brown... and gold.... i also wear turquois eyeliner on the bottom..... don't wear so much makeup...
