What is the best brand of hair color to use for getting rid of grey without the grey showing up afte

Everytime I color my hair and wash it the grey starts to show up again. I've tried leaving it in longer like the box says but it still somes out. I use Preferance and that's what happens. I have dry hair and try to avoid harsh chemicals unless it has conditioners with it and that one does. I am to young to be old.Please Help

I like the Robert Craig colors. You can use just a bit for root touchups without having to use the whole box. It doesn't fade either.

well it all depends on what color your using. Reds usually tend to fade faster than any other color. When you use light color they dont fuse deeply into the cuticle and wash out quickly. Also grey is very stubborn and resistant to alot of things, color, perms, straighteners, and so on. But I would try to go a lil darker maybe browns or black. I really dont know if preferance is semi, demi, or permanat color but make sure to read the label because semi will come out fast, Demi, is your in between, not quite perm. but last longer than semi. And of course perm. color will stay but will fade and you have to touch up roots or grow out.

so far I have used Clairol Balsam and Revlon, and I leave it in until the gray is gone then I wash it out
