Downloaded itunes from internet,plug in ipod, computer not recognising it.Sync icon grey not highlighted, My son also got one, no problems with his, tried lots of things,maybe I should take it back to shop. also ipod says memory has 1.4mb memory left even though there is nothing on it.Help before I tear my hair out please...

i got a 4gb for christmas but it had no problems, but then my mam realised that 4gb was too little space so my dad changed for a 8gb and there is not a signle problem, its brilliant!!!!
